AVASO Technology Solutions is currently seeking a Freelance Network Engineer for Singapore. As an AVASO employee, you will be part of a global organization that provides IT Services to big national as well as international clients across multiple industries.

**Freelance Work**: It means you will work for your own like a self-employed and you will get paid only for the hours OR days’ you work on the customer’s site.

**Position: Network Support (Server Smart Hands )**

**Job Type**: Freelance/Self-Employed/Part-Time

**Visa status: Valid working rights (We do not provide any kind of sponsorship)**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Patch management
- General security control compliance

General support of Windows Desktop and Server systems as well as Linux in lab environments
- Application troubleshooting associated with OS configuration or patching
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to

computer systems, software, and hardware.

- Write training manuals.
- Train lab users.
- Maintain daily performance of lab computer systems.
- Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
- Resolve basic technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and other systems.
- Install computer peripherals for users.
- Follow up with lab customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
- Coordination of activities with various lab owners for the above
- Resources will report into an IT organization (TBD) but will also take input and direction

from designated Engineering/Ops resources.

**-Design and install well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling**

**-Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network**

**-Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs**

**-Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices**

**-Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement**

**-Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work**

**-Do regular data backups to protect the organization’s information**

**-Provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions**

**Requirements and skills**

**-Proven experience as network technician or relevant position**

**-Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills**

**-Good communication skills**

**-Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies**

**-Hands-on experience with common software and hardware**

**-CCENT/CCNA qualifications are strongly preferred**

**-BSc/BA in computer science, computer engineering or relevant field**

**AND English should be good so that he can communicate to other people out of country**
