Job Details:
Job Summary: Responsible to prioritize and carry out workshop repair for the suite of equipment up to module and components level and ensuring the key performance indications are met and positively contributes to the overall business goals. This position typically works under mínimal supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment by use of computer-based programs, verbal/written instructions and general-purpose test equipment
- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams to determine methods of assembly and repair
- Operate diagnostic systems to debug and isolate complex faults to component level
- Repair faulty units by replacing defective components, and test before release
- Ensure the proper monitoring and records of all completed tasks including tracking of repair TAT and recording of all spares used for all repairs.
- Ensure that all QA procedures are observed and strictly adhered to during the repair/maintenance of all equipment.
- Order spares through workshop supervisor through close coordination with the Spares I/C on inventory control
- Responsible to train, provide OJT (On Job Training) and guidance to junior technicians and ensuring that they can perform up to mark
- Assist the warehouse to diagnose and rectify equipment operational issues as and required.
- Provide technical support on 24/7 basis for overseas Exercise Support as and required.
- Provide reports on all work accomplished
- Suggest improvements in the Maintenance Department where applicable
- Maintain a sound knowledge of OH&S and take an active part in safety issues as required
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may also be required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time, as may be reasonably required of them.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Diploma/NITEC in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field knowledge of fault-finding to component level and remedial service of microprocessor-based electromechanical devices. At least 3 years relevant working knowledge with the understanding of workshop maintenance process. Mechanical aptitude is an essential requirement. Must be computer hardware and software literacy. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a stressful environment and beyond working hours including weekends.
