Our client is a company that specialises in assets globally across the debt structure.

**Your new role**
Our client is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the Finance team as a Fund Accountant.
- Preparation of management company and fund financials, and review of NAV packages from fund administrators, with analysis on variances from budget and prior period
- Coordination of fund administration and valuation process for monthly flash, closing and quarterly reporting to shareholders.
- Performing management fee calculations and relevant billing to the funds managed.
- Preparation of quarterly financial reporting to investors
- Adhering to operational processes within the fund as well as expense processes such as, ensuring allocation of expenses to the relevant entity, preparation of payments and ensuring disbursement of payments according to the bank mandates
- Handling day to day matters of the fund and manager, working closely with operations, treasury, group finance, human resources and external stakeholders such as the external valuation team, auditors, tax agents, fund administrators
- Preparation and coordination of internal and external financial reports, regulatory returns, tax filings and any other reports as required, and ensure the filings are done on a timely basis.
- Ensuring compliance with the regulatory capital requirement and any other regulations relating to finance areas. Familiarity with MAS quarterly and annual filing and quarterly income and expenditure filing preferred
- Supporting the audit and preparation and review of financial statements
- Assist in capital activities as required, eg capital call and distribution, capital injections and reductions, dividends

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 6-7 years of relevant experience
- Qualified accountant or equivalent
- Strong communication skills and able to work under tight deadlines/stress etc.
- Direct experience in the fund industry
- Familiar with CMS regulatory compliance and reporting rules
- Experience in preparing financial statements
