Principal Energy Transition Advisor

**Position Description**:
**Reporting to the Regional Director - Asia, the individual will work within the Global Energy Transition Advisory team, in close collaboration with the organization's vast engineering, technology, and scientific resource base.**:
**Job responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)**:

- ** Lead client engagements across project lifecycle.**:

- ** Manage client / external stakeholder relationships (including government authorities and regulatory agencies).**:

- ** Originate projects to grow advisory business portfolio.**:

- ** Work collaboratively with Global Advisory Team to deliver overall P&L.**:

- ** Coordinate resources and expertise with other offices and business units world-wide to deliver leading-edge solutions and excellent techno-commercial outcomes.**:

- ** Support Director and other Principals to develop creative advisory solutions tailored to client’s bespoke requirements.**:

- ** Coach and mentor junior team members to continuously improve quality of delivery.**:

- ** Provide inputs and support for strategic market communications.**:

- ** Actively engage industry networks to stay abreast of latest developments and innovations.**:

- ** Represent the organization at public / industry functions and conferences to uphold and enhance the organization’s brand especially in Asia.**:

- **Decarbonized hydrogen, biofuels/e-fuels, carbon abatement and management (including but not limited CCS/CCUS).**:

- **Heavy end-users of energy, including (but not limited) to industrial, manufacturing, technology providers, data center operators, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and mining sectors.**:

- **Regulations and policy across the region. Cross-sector understanding of decarbonization policies in particular for heavy producers and/or end-users or of energy would be key capabilities and depth of knowledge sought.**

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- ** Degree in Engineering and/or Science, with additional qualifications in Business or Economics (MBA can be an advantage).**:

- ** Typically, 10-15 years Energy/related industry experience, with 10 years+ specific to corporate energy transition work, energy policy and regulations and/or energy transition financing work.**:

- ** Experience with advisory consulting firms with demonstrated capability to grow advisory business will be an advantage.**:

- ** Proven capability in delivering high-end Advisory projects and managing key stakeholders is essential.**:

- ** Experience in working at executive / C suite / C-1 where negotiating G2G / G2B business opportunities.**:

- ** Experience developing and implementing energy transition strategy.**:

- ** Strong understanding of Energy Transition technical concepts and commercial feasibility.**:

- ** Familiarity with broad ESG ecosystem, including local and international carbon markets, rules and regulations.**:

- ** Demonstrate business acumen (ability to grasp commercial feasibility of proposals) and financial literacy (ability to understand basic financial concepts and evaluation methods)**:

- ** Ability to work collaboratively with direct team members, as well as broader colleagues.**:
