We’re looking for a Staff UX Designer to join our UX & Design team. This position is full-time and based in Singapore and reports to the UX & Design Manager. This role is great for UX Designers who revel in stakeholder management, excel in facilitation of design/technical discussions to accelerate execution love solving wicked problems and want to have a say in the long term vision in how we scale up our operations to bring our content to a larger audience in the future. At Viki, you’ll be essential in providing a world-class service to our users while our business is scaling up.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Key partner along with PM and data in defining and executing our product strategy and roadmap- Mapping out user journeys and the respective user flows for different personas- Provide mentorship and guidance to members of the UX team- Storytelling chops, bringing these user stories and insights to life- Strategic design vision and thinking with a strong ability to manage user complexity- Presenting insights and rallying the team to co-create solutions- Driving UX discovery, delivering solutions with deep understanding of user behaviors- Creating design prototypes, micro-interactions and transitions- Conducting usability tests- Collaborating with Product, Business (Content Operations, Customer Support, Marketing etc.) & Engineering teams to understand, research and translate requirements into solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree with 8+ years of experience as a professional UX Designer, with productivity products or B2B experience a plus- Experience designing solutions and Design systems- Creative. See things differently and come up with solutions that solve problems- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to interact with both technical and nontechnical people, strong opinions loosely held- Driven by data and research, designing and analyzing workflows to support key business objectives- Experience working in start-up and/or media company environments- BS/MS in Interaction Design, Product Design, or a related field a plus- Previous management experience a plus- Proficiency qualitative and qualitative data analysis a plus
