**Job Description Summary**

This role is responsible for overall responsibility for managing the administration and operations of the Town Council

**What you will be doing**:
**Working closely with the General Manager, the Operations Manager’s responsibilities include**:

- ** Operations Efficiency**: This involves managing and monitoring day-to-day operations and Key Performance Indicators of the Town Council to ensure efficient delivery of services to residents and maintaining high standards of living within the community.
- ** Innovation/Transformation**: As a change agent, to develop, coordinate and communicate strategic projects to improve communications and enhance service deliveries to residents and stakeholders.
- ** Strategic Communications**: Taking instructions from Chairman and the Council, to oversee the strategic communications of the Town Council. To integrate effective communications with the operations and stakeholders’ needs.
- ** Project Lead**:To lead agency partners to resolve complex community problems in a holistic manner.
- ** Audit**:Ensuring town council operations comply with Town Councils’ Act, Town Councils’ Financial Rules, and all related legislations. May be deployed as Secretary to Town Council sub-committees.
- ** Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)**: Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.
- Perform any related duties as required and directed.

**About You**:

- Bachelor Degree in Estate Management, Real Estate, Building or approved professional qualification and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in management roles, preferably within the public sector or property management industry may suffice.
- Strong organizational skills to guide the team towards achieving organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to engage and connect with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge in strategic communications and corporate governance matters will be an advantage.
