**Key Responsibilities**:

- Designed and implemented robust secure key management solutions using HashiCorp Vault across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Automated Vault configurations and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Ansible, drastically reducing deployment times to 25 minutes.
- Implemented high availability (HA) and fault tolerance strategies with PR (Production) and DR (Disaster Recovery) clusters to ensure continuous Vault functionality even during regional failures.
- Configured and managed Secret Engines for various purposes including Databases, Key-Value (KV) stores, Transit, LDAP, KMS, and Transform.
- Developed and enforced policies and access control mechanisms to uphold Zero Trust principles, enhancing security posture and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
- Established monitoring and alerting systems for Vault metrics and logs using CloudWatch and OpenSearch, ensuring proactive security monitoring and incident response.
- Ensured compliance with security and governance requirements specific to HashiCorp Vault within complex organizational structures.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- In-depth experience with HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, and Ansible for secure key management and infrastructure automation.
- Strong understanding of high availability (HA) architectures and fault tolerance mechanisms.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing access control policies and Zero Trust security principles.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch and OpenSearch.
- Knowledge of security and governance compliance frameworks relevant to HashiCorp Vault.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications such as HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate or Professional.
- Prior experience in consulting roles focusing on DevSecOps and security architecture.
