**Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Aluminium & Glass Construction**:
**Position Summary**:
A dual-role professional responsible for producing technical drawings and shop drawings for aluminium and glass works, while also managing quantity surveying tasks such as material take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration. This role bridges design and cost control to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Drafter Duties**:

- Prepare detailed shop drawings for aluminium and glass systems (e.g., curtain walls, windows, doors, canopies, partitions).
- Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, or engineers.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings match site conditions.
- Maintain CAD standards and proper documentation of drawing revisions.
- Use **AutoCAD**or other BIM software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) as required.

**Quantity Surveyor Duties**:

- Perform material quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers for quotations and price comparison.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and prepare progress claims and final accounts.
- Assist with contract administration and procurement schedules.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in aluminium and glass works (preferably in **Singapore**).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam).
- Familiarity with aluminium and glazing systems, fabrication details, and local building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

**Bonus Skills**:

- Experience with curtain wall systems, structural glazing, or façade works.
- Basic knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes.
- Site experience in coordination with subcontractors and consultants.
