You will provide research support service to the investigators in the conduct and implementation of clinical trial and/or clinical research studies at the National Neuroscience Institute (TTSH and SGH campus), in adherence to Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and protocol requirements.

You will be required to:

- carry out all duties related to the Neuro-oncology grant platform, including screening for patient participation, obtaining consent, collection and transportation of samples, collation of results, administrative duties and other support functions towards the grant. This will comprise two-thirds of the expected activities for the CRC role.
- administer study-related questionnaires.
- assist in data collection and data management.
- assist in all administrative requirements including submission process to IRB and/or regulatory authority.
- work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all study-related activities are carried out efficiently.
- carry out all duties related to supporting the Department of Neurosurgery in academic and research activities, including the Neuro-tech platform, comprising screening and obtaining consent for patient participation in department-wide research database initiatives, collation of results, administrative duties and other support functions. There will be an opportunity to learn image processing skills (see below). This will comprise of one-third of the expected activities for the CRC role.

**Research Description**

The CRC will also be involved with the administration of neuropsychology tests, as well as pre
- and post-processing of medical images towards a neuro-oncology imaging study to support the funded grant. This work is expected to provide correlations between cognitive testing, attitudinal and quality of life measures and imaging biomarkers (such as 3D volumetric segmentations, topological maps and diffusion markers for tissue injury) in patients with brain tumours. In addition, we shall perform similar work based on open-access tumour resources, such as the The Cancer Imaging archive (TCIA) that will serve as comparator groups to our local neuro-oncology patient cohorts.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Psychology or related fields.
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT literacy and statistics skills are also desirable.
