AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts.

AI Singapore’s Innovation pillar is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior AI Architect to lead the architectural design of AI systems for our 100 Experiments (100E) and AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP) projects.

You will work closely with the Platforms Engineering, 100E, and AIAP teams to ensure the successful development, deployment, and integration of production-quality AI solutions.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead the architectural design of AI systems for 100E and AIAP projects, ensuring scalability, robustness, and maintainability.
- Provide guidance on the selection and integration of appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with the Platforms Engineering team to ensure alignment of AI systems with the broader infrastructure and architecture.
- Establish best practices for AI system design, development, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to AI engineers and apprentices on architectural aspects of AI projects.
- Contribute to the development of AI Singapore's AI/ML/Data Ops infrastructure.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in AI architecture and design.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in designing and deploying complex AI systems.
- Deep understanding of AI architectures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Familiarity with various AI frameworks and tools.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

**Good to have**:

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with data governance and security regulations.
- Background in high-performance computing (HPC).
