DESIGNATION : Assist Mgr/Snr Assist Mgr, Creative Strategy and Marketing (6-mth contract), OIE

RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is situated in Office of Industry Engagement (OIE).
- Supporting the Office of Industry Engagement and the Partnerships & Engagement Group in creative strategy, digital marketing, and outreach coordination.
- Developing marketing collateral that includes digital assets (such as webpages, EDMs, infographics, social media posts, pitch decks, press releases), print assets (such as posters, banners, booklets), and more.
- Coordinating communication channels so internal stakeholders are apprised of opportunities available in the industry.
- Able to work closely with the team daily by managing project timelines and tasks.
- Actively thinking of creative ways to engage external partners online and at in-person events.
- Independently managing administration, tasks, and event coordination, and providing operations support at events.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma / Degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or events organization role.
- Demonstrated proficiency in crafting marketing collateral independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft365 suite.
- Good grasp of written English.
- Experienced in marketing and communications for business and corporate clients;
- Designing for web, including EDMs, infographics, data visualization, and social media;
- Co-ordinating and managing in-person professional and networking events;
- Managing organizational communications and administration.
- Firm understanding of professional social media platforms, especially LinkedIn;
- Professional marketing platforms;
- Social media analytics and content strategy.
- Familiarity with translating academic research for non-specialists audience (preferred);
- Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and/or customer relationship management (CRM) software (preferred);
- Software programming (preferred).
