**BW Epic Kosan** owns and operates a fleet of 66 modern and high quality fully pressurised, semi-refrigerated and ethylene capable gas carriers providing seaborne services for the transportation of liquified petroleum gas (LPG), petrochemicals and other speciality gases. We are headquartered in Singapore, with offices in Copenhagen, Manila and Tokyo. Our vessels serve as a crucial link in the international gas supply chains of leading oil majors and commodity trading houses throughout Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, West Africa and the Americas. We employ approximately 2000 seafarers and a multi-national team of 200 shore-based staff.

DESIGNATION : EMISSIONS & EFFICIENCY MANAGER (DATA ANALYST) - SINGAPORE OFFICE

RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the company’s Decarbonization and Digitalization strategy related to Emissions and Environmental Impact using different digital tools and software.

Interacting with various external stakeholders like digital solution providers, classification societies etc. and internal stakeholders like ship managers, vessel staff, procurement teams etc. to develop our digital ship performance tools and other innovative solutions for improving efficiency of technical processes.
- Assist in integration of ERP data and Performance data on Power BI to create an intelligent decision-support tool for the company
- Data analysis for fleet performance, emission reduction, savings from energy saving retrofits/efficiency improvement measures.
- Assist in developing new analytical tools to improve other technical management processes.
- Liaise with solution providers for continuous improvement of their digital tools/ dashboards.
- Audit the data against official logs (from vessels) and create reports based on reported data
- Create and share performance related reports and score cards for energy efficiency with fleet and management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual emissions & performance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Data Science/ Data Analytics or equivalent disciplines, preferably with more than 2 years of work experience as a data scientist or analyst in a shipping or maritime software company.
- Proven ability in the technical domains of advanced data analysis and engineering model development.
- Proven ability with Python, database, and cloud services
- Proficient in Business Intelligence tools, harnessing data towards prudent decision making.
- Project management abilities, with ability to develop, improve and implement safe, and cost-effective technical vessel management processes
- Knowledge of marine industry and/or naval architecture is advantageous.
- Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills
- Independent, outcome driven, organized and resourceful
- Strong team orientation and can manage cross-functional relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
