Roles & Responsibilities

**Responsibilities**

Project Management
- Overall In-charge of all the projects under HM Division
Managing the production of the required deliverables
- Planning and monitoring the project
- Adopting any delegation and use of project assurance roles within agreed reporting structures
- Preparing and maintaining project, stage and exception plans as required
- Managing project risks, including the development of contingency plans
- Liaison with Clients/Main Contractors/Consultants/Sub-contractors/Principals to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated
- Monitoring overall progress and use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary
- Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments

Project Accounting
- Reports profit and loss figures
- Consolidates and analyses profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilisation across practice
- Addresses and resolves all billing issues
- Ensures practice meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives, including revenue and margin

Engineering responsibilities
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
- Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment
- Develop PLC programs to meet different client requirements including handling complex system integrations
- Direct, review and approve product design and changes
- Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
- Develop and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, or firm
**Pre-requisites**
- Minimum Degree/diploma in Mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering
- Minimum 15 years of Mechanical/Electrical Industry Experience out of which min 5 years in Hostile mitigation
- Proven Experience in handling Engineering Projects
- Hands-on Experience in PLC programming preferably on Siemens / Mitsubhishi / Telemecanique PLC’s
- Good Knowledge of Hydraulics and developing controls for such systems
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Good Leadership, Team Management, Negotiation, Personal Organisation and Risk Management skills
