**About this role**
You will collaborate globally to push for step-change outcomes on issues like urban resilience, the circular economy agenda and the push for greater climate resilience. As the Senior Climate Change Specialist, you work on exciting projects across the SEA focussed on international development with the International Financial Institutions (World Bank, ADB etc.), strategic planning, urban planning, integrated infrastructure ( energy, water, waste etc and related services

**What will I do?**
- Undertake Climate, Sustainability & urban resilience strategies and technical assessments including climate risks.
- Project manage and develop strategies & integrated plans for various multi-disciplinary development studies typically funded by International Financial Institutions (World Bank, ADB etc.)
- Support the advisory, planning & design team by assembling and managing teams to bid on and deliver projects with a focus on IFI projects and climate related projects.
- Contribute towards other infrastructure and engineering projects, especially when related to your own specific skills in climate, environment and sustainability.
- Help drive the shape and direction of international development and climate related businesses by leveraging your industry connections to drive work winning across Arup.
- Actively identify and pursue new opportunities to expand impact thru business development especially relating to IFIs, thought leadership relating to climate services, research and knowledge sharing programs.

**What will I bring?**
- Masters degree in Environment, Sustainability, Geography, Planning or Economics with at least 8 to 12 year of relevant experiences working with a consulting business on IFI and related clients particularly in SE Asia.
- Knowledge of international development projects and delivery - With a strategic understanding of international development type projects including urban resilience, climate change etc. across SE Asia and able to demonstrate what issues matter on the projects you deliver.
- Project management and high commercial acumen, strong written communication and presentation skills, responsible for the preparation of proposals and reports to required budget and timeframes.
- Knowledge of key trends of the regional related business landscape including climate policies, environmental issues, sustainability, infrastructure projects, geo-political and reform agendas.
- Experience in advising clients on feasibility, strategy and planning for large scale urban and infrastructure planning, resilience frameworks, multi-disciplinary projects and strategy plans
