Role Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis on macro economy and financial markets, as well as their implication on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
- Actively contribute to the Group’s thought leadership on asset allocation and investment strategy.
- Develop and formulate Prudential house view on financial market and assets outlook.
- Work with Prudential local investment teams to prepare regular outlook presentations and reports, as well as ad-hoc reports on specific investment events.
- Present investment market analysis and outlook internally and externally
- Assist in the creation of investment-related presentations for senior management.
Job Requirements:
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience in a financial institution, ideally in an Economist/Strategist role with extensive experience in analyzing a broad range of asset classes/strategies across different markets.
- Ability to write effectively and explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and team working attributes
- Buy side or sell side experience both welcome
