Job Responsibilities
- Design, detailing, and preparing specifications for various mechanical systems in advanced technology and life science projects
- Overseeing construction and ensuring compliance with mechanical system designs
- Establishing sustainability goals and ensuring they are met
- Reviewing mechanical system designs for technical accuracy and compliance with client requirements
- Developing and implementing recovery plans related to design, cost, and schedule
- Representing the Mechanical Department in monthly leadership meetings
- Leading department meetings and providing updates on project progress and business development
- Sharing information on the latest technical advancements, codes, and standards in mechanical engineering
- Collaborating with the Commercial team to develop cost estimates during design phases for BLS projects
- Assisting in tendering and estimating mechanical works before project awards
- Developing cost-effective mechanical solutions that align with company growth plans
- Working with quantity surveyors during tendering and estimating activities for mechanical systems

Job Requirement
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Over 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Possess experience in design and construction within high-tech or multidisciplinary environments
- A minimum of 5 years leading fast-paced projects
- Familiar with Singapore’s regulations, laws, and approval processes through direct work experience in the region
- Strong skills in strategic and operational planning and execution
- Proficient in process and project management, with a focus on leading change effortsLocation: West region
