**Responsibilities**:

- **FI Sponsors Segment Development & Risk Solutions for FI's**:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the financial institutions (FIs) and financial sponsor client base.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering customized solutions across risk management & hedging, capital markets & financing, and structured investments.
- Work closely with the coverage team to understand client needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- **Product Structuring & Capital Optimization**
- Design risk management and capital solutions to help clients meet regulatory environment.
- Structure and execute MTNs & structured deposits, bond forward rate agreements, total return swaps, CLOs, ABS and loan sell downs to optimize client balance sheets and capital efficiency.
- **Strategic Growth & Market Analysis**
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the financial institutions and financial sponsor business and enhance market share in FX and derivatives products.
- Proactively analyse the evolving market trends, regulatory changes and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.
- **Collaboration & Execution**
- Work closely with trading, structuring and global market teams across multiple locations to develop and deliver bespoke solutions.
- Partner with internal product teams and group companies (e.g. SMBC Nikko Securities) to provide holistic financing and hedging solutions.

**Job Requirements**
- 12 years+ of relevant sales experience in FICC derivatives and structured solutions.
- Strong understanding of FIs and financial sponsor needs, with the ability to design and execute solutions that integrate financing and hedging strategies.
- Experience in bespoke derivative transactions with FIs and financial sponsors
- Knowledgeable about the onboarding and documentation requirements for financial sponsors
- Strong analytical skills and financial modelling expertise.
- Ability to establish a strong network across industry, identify and understand client needs
- Thorough knowledge in regional regulatory structures and policies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for trade modelling, Word, and PowerPoint for client presentations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent command of English language.
- Experience in dealing with global financial institutions in EU and Americas in addition to Asia will be a plus.
