**Job Requirement**:

- To plan, manage, oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the health, safety and environmental matters for the Project.
- To advise and report to site and ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations.
- To be responsible for health, safety and environmental control, update the Safety Management System Manual and to ensure that all works adhere to the procedures and instructions.
- To manage the team of Safety officer and ensure all duties and responsibilities required of them are discharged professionally and competently. He shall carry out regular meetings with the team and address any issues relating to their personal and work matters.
- To attend all site, progress, variation, co-ordination and other meetings relating to the Project as directed by the project team.
- To liaise and co-ordinate with public authorities and agencies and other Consultants employed by Project Team
- To provide full support and assistance toProject team in ensuring that their instructions are communicated effectively and works are being carried out in accordance with instructions from time to time.
- To assist the Project team in the review of Main Contractor’s proposed method statement in the areas of risk assessment and safe working procedure, and to verify that they are properly executed on site.
- To present safety status updates, risk assessments and control measures at relevant CAG committees’ meetings
- To keep up to date with changes in current legislation and to bring to the attention of the Project Superintending Officer(s) any relevant new legislation.

**Requirement**:

- Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health Discipline or related qualifications
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry preferably 5 years with a developer/main contractor
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience in tunnel construction
- Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years
- Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent
- Occupational First Aid
- Class 3 Qualified Driving License
- Good communication skills and team player
- Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government.
