About the opportunity_**

Wego’s Staff Engineers are our technical leaders, charting the right course through at least our next 3 years of growth. They bring world class technical chops and communication skills to tackle design and architectural problems spanning the company. They improve organization-wide standards around delivering software and the art of running software in production.

This position is available as an in-office arrangement in our offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

This role would be a good fit for you if you:_**
- **Have strong frontend expertise**, particularly in JavaScript-related technologies since that is what most of our current apps are built on. As a technical leader, you challenge both yourself and the frontend organization on whether our current choices will continue to make sense in the uncertain future.
- **Place great value on software quality.** You have experience finding optimal ways to maintain a high level of quality via automated testing and thoughtful code reviews.
- **Have experience with A/B or multivariate testing tools and product analytics**. At Wego, we believe in a balance between both quantitative and qualitative analysis when crafting user experiences.
- **Like to reflect about how we can improve as an organization. **Staff Engineers at Wego are often dissatisfied with the current state of affairs, and bring a combination of technical innovation, expertise and systems thinking to set the organization up for success several years ahead.
