We are looking for an individual who is
passionate about food & coffee, enjoys interacting with customers, and is a team player. The Canteen Crew will report to the TRC Club Manager.
- Job Scope _
- Prepare all food and drink on the Canteen menu as per the instructions set out in the Canteen manual
- Familiarize yourself with the Canteen menu and know how to answer guest queries &/or make recommendations
- Keep the Canteen workspace clean and neat
- Regularly assist with ensuring the fridges and freezers are clean and tidy
- Operate coffee machinery including espresso machine, grinder etc
- Prepare and present coffee according to the established recipes and presentation standard
- Knowledgeable in the different types of coffee beans and types of coffee preparation
- Maintain inventory by replenishing coffee bean supply, stocking coffee brewing equipment
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following organization standards and food safety regulations
- Accurately count and record daily inventory
- Record and accurately process purchases using the cafe’s POS system
- Serve food, clear, and clean tables
- Requirements _
- Food Safety Course Level 1 certified
- Minimum 1 year of F&B experience
- Able to make conversation and build relationships with customers
- Positive working attitude
- Prioritizes cleanliness and hygiene
