Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Capacity, Supply Chain & Provisioning (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world’s computing with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
Within Azure Hardware Systems & Infrastructure, the Spares Parts team is responsible for ensuring that the right spare parts, are in the right place, at the right time in support of delivering global capacity requirements. We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Supply Chain Manager and/or Spare Parts Life Cycle Management professional to proactively support demand and supply activities for specific hardware product within the Cloud space. In this role, you will drive Operational Excellence and to ensure availability of Hardware at a global scale. In this role you may also manage and enable proactive Spare Parts Life Cycle decisions by influencing and executing cross-functional activities. This role will operate in a global, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. In this role, you will ensure that we maintain capacity and enable growth for core equipment in support of global teams by engineering and managing robust processes for reliable delivery of Service Parts to our datacenters worldwide.
**Responsibilities**:
- Act as the single point of contact for data center stakeholders in the APAC region
- Drive a timely response in support of Spares and Warranty activities to stakeholders throughout the Supply Chain (RMA, New Process implementation, Goods Receipt, Break/Fix, Fulfillment, Reverse Logistics, Exception Management, etc.)
- Build collaborative relationships with Data Centers and Supply Chain stakeholders in-region, and drive Voice of the Customer into the Spares and Warranty Supply Chain organization.
- Leverage your insight into internal customer roadmaps, business reviews, and analytics to drive visibility to Data Center pain points, and champion action to ensure world-class spares availability and service.
- Enable the implementation of a multi-year, in-process warranty transformation while ensuring that new processes and systems impacting datacenter touch points are proactively understood, managed for risk, and implemented with success.
**Qualifications**:
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain or a related function - Undergraduate degree
- Executive presence with strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data analytics to include Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
- Prior experience in Spares and / or Fulfillment processes, preferably in the high-tech industry
