**Job Scope**:

- **Design Consultation**:Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Advise on space planning, design styles, color schemes, and materials.
- **Concept Development**:Create design concepts and mood boards.
Develop detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D models using design software.
- **Project Management**:Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors.
Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- **Material & Product Selection**:Choose appropriate materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
Source and procure furnishings and decor.
- **Installation Oversight**:Supervise the implementation of design plans.
Ensure quality control and address any issues during installation.
- **Compliance and Safety**:Ensure designs meet building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Background:Degree**: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
**Certification**: Certification from a recognized body (e.g., NCIDQ) can be beneficial.
- **Experience**:Experience in interior design or a related field, showcasing a portfolio of completed projects.
- **Skills:Design Software Proficiency**: Skilled in CAD, SketchUp, or similar design programs.
**Creativity and Aesthetics**: Strong sense of design, color, and spatial arrangements.
**Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and presentations.
**Project Management**: Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines efficiently.
**Problem-Solving**: Ability to address design challenges and client needs effectively.
- **Knowledge**:Familiarity with current design trends, materials, and furniture.
