Senior Electronic Trading Software Engineer

Citi ICG Technology organization is looking for a senior software in the APAC Equities Electronic Trading team. The person in this role will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of Citi’s next gen low latency execution platform in APAC. The senior engineer will collaborate with a team of developers and work with the product development team, other technology team, production support, and quality assurance. Close alignment with the global strategy is important for this role. **Responsibilities**: - Design, develop and support of the high-performance electronic execution platform - Partner with traders, quant researchers and clients on product development - Continuous maintenance & improvements of the testing frameworks, development tools and environments. - Ability to envision, design and implement test cases for trading functions. - Contribute towards Agile and Continuous Integration processes **Qualifications**: - Minimum 5 years’ experience with Strong technical knowledge with expertise in either Java, C#, C++ - Previous experience in developing automated trading platforms. - Strong understanding of automated testing techniques. - Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes. - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, set goals and meet deadlines. - Strong communication skills with a demonstrable ability to present & grasp complex concepts in a multicultural environment is required **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience LI-Hybrid - **Job Family Group**: Technology - **Job Family**: Applications Development - **Time Type**: - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
