**Job Title: Compliance and Safety Engineer
**Responsibilities**:

- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay abreast of all relevant regulations, codes of practice, and safety standards related to water heater installations in Singapore.
- Ensure that Homeone's engineering practices comply with all statutory requirements.
- **Safety Audits and Inspections**:

- Conduct regular technical and safety audits and inspections of work sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards and risks promptly.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety and work compliance inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for internal use and regulatory authorities.
- **Training and Development**:

- Develop and deliver technical and safety training programs for Homeone staff and licensed contractors.
- Facilitate ongoing safety education and awareness campaigns within the organization.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure that all water heater installations meet or exceed safety and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to address and rectify any non-compliance issues.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans for water heater installations, ensuring the safety of both workers and occupants.
- Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of emergency procedures.
- **Collaboration with Authorities**:

- Submission to PUB, HDB or other authorities.
- Act as a liaison between Homeone and relevant regulatory bodies, ensuring open communication and alignment with industry standards.
- Respond to inquiries and participate in regulatory inspections as needed.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety practices and compliance processes.
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to enhance safety performance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a PUB Licensed Plumber or an EMA LEW.
- Proven experience in a safety or PUB or EMA compliance role, preferably in the construction or water heater solutions industry.
- Strong understanding of Singapore's safety regulations and codes of practice for plumbing or electrical.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
