About the team
The Business Infrastructure team aims to provide unified access layer and architecture depth services for the organisation's internal business lines and products. Based on the internal infrastructure, Volcano Engine (or other public clouds) has two types of Infrastructure providers and is responsible for the organisation's architecture stability, architecture disaster recovery and service experience.
The Cloud Platform direction is mainly responsible for building a cloud management platform, providing unified platform access and product matrix for all business lines, shielding the underlying private cloud or public cloud usage differences, and maintaining a consistent experience at the end of the R&D process. Build cloud migration and multi-cloud disaster recovery systems, promote the evolution of the company's architecture, and accelerate the process of business cloud migration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop the next-generation cloud platform within ByteDance’s infrastructure, including but not limited to core modules such as transaction/payment systems, resource/permission management, metering and billing, and quota management.
- Build multi-cloud adaptation capabilities between the infrastructure and Volc-Engine, enabling internal services to seamlessly use and migrate to Volcengine’s standard products while maintaining the ByteDance technology ecosystem experience.
- Deeply understand ByteDance’s infrastructure technology stack, and, from an architectural perspective, address business pain points and align with evolution directions to enhance service experience and architectural advancements in terms of stability, cost efficiency, and platform systems for the group’s business services.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Software Enginnering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python, Java, C, C++.
- Solid basic knowledge in computer science, including but not limited to computer networks, operating systems, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in developing cloud platform-related modules, including but not limited to transaction/payment systems, resource/permission management, metering and billing, and budget/quota management.
- Familiarity with the principles and implementation of common distributed systems is preferred, including but not limited to scheduling systems, storage, caching, message queues, and big data.
- Strong ability to independently identify and resolve issues, coupled with a high level of technical enthusiasm and responsibility.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and execution skills, with the ability to drive and deliver results.
