Brand Manager

The Brand Manager will be responsible for the strategy, planning and execution supervision of all integrated consumers campaigns: ATL & BTL activations for our Whisky brands, one of our most strategic categories (Chivas, Royal Salute, Single Malts).
His / her key missions will be:
- Formulate the business ambition, local brand strategy and activation plan, define and optimize investment level
- Design and monitor the consumer touchpoint strategy and bring to life consumer engagement platforms, in line with global guidelines
- Supervise the management and execution of the different actions of the touchpoint plan, traditional and digital, in order to create memorable experiences, generate preference and advocacy for our brands
He / She will be responsible for the portfolio development and communication strategies. His / her mission will be to drive long-term brand equity, as well as continuously recruiting new consumers into the category, through:
- Deep understanding of the market - competitors, channels, categories & customers - to transform analysis into business opportunities
- Deep understanding of the consumer & shopper behavior from observation, research and data reports, to transform insights into actions
- Ability to evaluate marketing effectiveness of business activities (consumer and trade) in order to initiate and optimize business performance and ensure excellence in execution
**Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics**:
- **Brand planning**: build integrated consumer engagement platforms, to maximize efficiency of key identified touchpoints from above-the-line media down to on/off-premises promotions
- **Business & Consumer analysis**: to enable great planning, the Brand Manager will have to generate actionable insights, analyzing data from consumer research, consumer & competition intelligence reports, past activities learnings and business dashboards
- **Excellence in execution through the line**: develop and manage media planning & communication assets, breakthrough PR programs and BTL toolkits (on/off premises promotions) in order to create successful activations
- **A&P management**: build the consumer A&P for assigned brands and optimize the allocation by whisky brand and by type of investments. Manage, adjust, and control the A&P spend throughout the year, to achieve business target
- **Collaboration**: manage efficient communication and leverage relevant resources internally and externally, to ensure excellence in execution and successful implementation of all planned brand activities - within agreed budget and timing. Establish and develop trusting and impactful relationships with all key stakeholders
- **Creativity**: explore new business opportunities through generation, inspiration and exploration of new and relevant ideas, services, solutions and designs with both internal and external partners, to enhance the consumer experience and drive brand engagement in new and innovative ways
