Zenyum HQ is looking for a legal intern to assist the HQ CorpDev, Legal & Regulatory team on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters.- We are looking for a driven and proactive individual who is not afraid to think outside the box, and is willing to learn in a fast-growing, diverse and collaborative startup environment
- As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to assist with shaping the group's policies, support a variety of legal projects (at HQ and in Asia), and gain exposure working alongside the business teams in the Zenyum group.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting research and drafting legal memos in relation to various legal issues and relevant legislative updates.
- Supporting business teams relating to regulatory advice, launch of new products or services and compliance matters.
- Supporting on internal compliance controls concerning data protection, security and confidentiality.
- Assisting with the overall management of the group’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Assisting in the development of legal and regulatory compliance policies.
- Assisting in the preparation of training materials for internal use.
- Assisting in general and administrative tasks in relation to matters noted above.

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a LL.B or J.D. degree program in a reputable law faculty in a common law jurisdiction (with a **strong preference** for students enrolled in Singapore). Students in penultimate or final year of studies are preferred but others are also invited to apply.
- Interested in understanding how Zenyum’s business works and how the various teams support this.
- Proficiency in legal research and delivering practical solutions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Keenness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced, 'startup style' environment.
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English, and ability to connect with people.
