**Requirements**:

- Installation and configuration of MongoDB in physical, virtualized, and containerized environments.
- Fine-tune configurations - MongoDB and servers for performance improvement.
- Implement optimal backup and recovery.
- Understand and optimize query performance.
- Evaluate, plan and perform the DB upgrades.
- Maintenance - during release/outage etc.
- Implementing best practices for backups, replication, and health checks.
- Develop and automate tasks for DBA Infrastructure team APAC (SG, HK, JP, IN)
- Database hardening - implement best practices.
- Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations.
- Automate the process of deploying DB changes so that we can support this for a new build/patch/hotfix.
- Key Results AREAS:

- Database Administrator & DB Infrastructure architect of MongoDB
- Evaluation and implementation of security baseline, vulnerability management and obsolescence management
- Optimization and automation of DBA tasks using tools/scripts such as python, Ansible
- Develop and improve dashboard to meet management and business needs

**Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills**:

- Hands on MongoDB Administrator both in traditional and containerized environments
- Provide high quality, balanced analysis, and advice on a range of issues of considerable complexity within specified SLA
- Hands on experience bash scripting, python, java script, JSON, UNIX knowledge
- Take principal responsibility for the identification of key methodological or process issues in the team
- Evaluates solutions critically based on logical assumptions, facts and chooses appropriate solution
- Good aptitude in comply with ITIL framework (Incident Management, Change Management,)
- Understanding of Business Continuity requirements
- Excellent time management skills

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Degree B.S preferably in an Information Technology
- At least 5 years’ experience in an IT Function of which 3 years’ experience has been as Developer
- Strong interpersonal Skills to interact with fellow team members, fellow teams both regionally and local
- Having analytical skills
- Being able to meet strict deadlines
- Being able to work under stressful circumstances
- Fluency in English.
- Analytical thinking and strong diagnostic information gathering
- Client-oriented, strong communication and organisation skills
- Initiative and multitasking
- Experience working in multi-cultural environment and distributed teams.

- Ability to work under pressure
