Finance Manager, Fp&a Medtech Sea

**Job Purpose**:
The FP&A COE Manager will be dedicated to Medical Device sector for SEA Markets and will partner with Finance leader of a cluster in enabling Business Unit Finance’s success in Planning & Updates, Reporting, and Analytics activities. This role will be critical in developing relationships with key stakeholders within the Business Unit Finance team as well as relevant Business Partners to ensure their FP&A needs are being met.

Manager to a finance analyst and be responsible for coaching, providing feedback and developing the necessary FP&A skills of the analyst. The Manager will play a pivotal role in reviewing critical outputs / work products produced by the Analysts and forging internal collaboration across the team, to ensure high service delivery levels.

The Manager will ensure appropriate standardization of FP&A activities within the cluster and will support the Finance Director in identifying and evaluating opportunities to refine and enhance the global standards.

The Manager will work closely with other tiers of Finance to maintain an understanding of the broader P&L. The Manager’s core understanding of the FP&A process, as well as their ability to take ownership for performance and development of others, will be vital to the success of the commercial team as a whole.

**Major Job Responsibilities**:
FP&A Activities
- Business Plan and Quarterly Update Support and Analysis
- Standard and ad-hoc reporting and analytics execution

Standardization / Capability Build
- Drive global FP&A standards / capabilities within the Cluster
- Support the team on standardization efforts within the Commercial group
- Develop business acumen within self & team to improve business insights

**Other Duties**
- Supports ad hoc requests / projects
- Supports continuous improvement activities
- Assists with training fellow team members
- Participates in training to increase knowledge & skill
- Perform performance management activities
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed

**Qualifications** Qualifications**:

- Bachelor degree or above in financial, accounting and/or auditing.
- Over 5-10 years’ experience with multinational companies, or with int’l auditing firms. At least 2 years of FP&A experience.
- Very Good spoken & written English.

**Required Knowledge**:

- Accounting and auditing professional knowledge;
- Company’s organization & operations knowledge;
- Good understanding of Company’s policies & operating procedures;
- Good understanding of Enterprise risk management and internal control;
- Financial system knowledge;
- Medical Industry Knowledge is a plus

**Personal Skills**:

- Knowledge of general finance/accounting processes. Strong influencer, independent thinking, and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success. Passion for people development and talent management is critical. Experienced professional with strong communication skills who is able to interact with senior management is required. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required.
