**Your role**
- As part of delivery team your responsibilities will include:
- review and analyze software requirement specifications
- design, develop and execute test cases to ensure the software meets requirements
- implement automated test scrips using existing test automation framework
- identify and report defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.
- participate in the software development lifecycle and ensure that testing is integrated throughout the process.
- support the business during business acceptance test phase
- improve overall software delivery process towards higher quality and efficiency
- sign-off releases

**Your team**
- You will be working for Platform Core & Middleware 2 team in Singapore which is part of Trading Platform Crew. Its main scope is to:
- ensure full regulatory compliance, strengthen existing controls, minimize manual touch points and improve operational efficiency in Trade and Transaction reporting.
- expand asset class/product coverage and further develop a strategic data repository for product life cycle management.
- provide high quality middleware & core services with aim to improve production stability, maximize test automation coverage, address existing technical debt to reduce time to delivery.

**Your expertise**
- university degree in IT/STEM - science, technology, engineering or math
- 5+ years of testing experience working in a banking / finance sector where Trading platform, Wealth Management, Investment Banking apps and regulatory reporting (FinfraG / FMIA; MIFID II; CFTC; MiFIR) are a big plus
- strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
- familiarity with test management tools, such as JIRA, Xray
- experience with test automation tools, such as SoapUI, Selenium or TestComplete, testing of front-end and back-end components/functionalities, Querying data via SQL & Git and GitLab
- knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent experience in software testing
- knowledge of Agile methodologies, Continuous integration and Continuous delivery.
