Senior/ Supply Chain Planner

The Supply Chain Planner will ensure product availability to customers, comply with the inventory policy and customer service level, and provide the best weekly production plan to maximize production efficiency, minimize lead time, enabling supply chain to meet demand at least possible cost. You will work with other departments and planners closely, ensure all the resources needed to complete the production plan are available.

**A Day in the Life**
- Determine supply plan according to demand, inventory target and capacity.
- Participant in global SIOP process, work with master planner closely to develop optimized supply plan.
- Participate in weekly planning meeting and provide input.
- Generate short-term and long-term capacity analysis based on AOP and operational demand.
- Create weekly production plan and schedule. Utilize APO as a planning tool, to define sequencing to meet inventory level and optimize line efficiency.
- Responsible for production order creation under SAP and work orders under MES (Manufacturing execution system).
- Review and control production progress, follow-up with all teams to eliminate delays by expediting materials shipments or revises the production schedule due to material, labor shortages or production issues.
- Interacts with shop floor management daily to resolve issues regarding plan execution, ensure daily production requirements are achieved. Lead daily/weekly production plan and execution meeting as required.
- Monitors, analyzes & reports performance to plan at production line and product mix level.
- Manage and control WIP inventory, minimize WIP age.
- Product phase in and phase out planning, ensure a seamless switch and to ensure no obsolete materials and meet launching schedule.
- Ensure accurate supply info maintained in system (SAP ECC and APO), clean up invalid orders at minimum weekly basis before weekend planning run to keep the heuristic result accurate.
- Create and maintain material master data, planning master data under SAP ECC and APO, ensure planning master data are updated and accurate.
- Ensure MES low level WIP work order min/max and order size are updated quarterly per demand or as required.
- Ensure timely finished goods shipment to distribution center.
- Communicate with other planners/buyers regularly to share related info and alert activities may have material impact.
- Ensure KPIs meet target such as shipment to plan, product availability, inventory target etc.
- Generate management reports.
- Assist material planning as required.
- Assist inventory cycle count and discrepancy investigations.
- Actively participate in any project or continuous improvement initiatives assigned.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Must Have**:

- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience

**Your Profile**
- Experience in production and material planning under manufacturing environment.
- Prior use of SAP APO SNP and PPDS is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen.
- Demand and Supply planning understanding.
- Knowledge of inventory management and inventory policy.
- Knowledge of supply chain and distribution management.
