Legal Counsel

**About the role**:
Hyperganic is looking for a well-rounded and experienced Legal Counsel based in the Singapore office to advance our business further. You will ensure that Hyperganic always operates within the law globally, offer your expertise and counsel on all legal issues, and safeguard Hyperganic’s interests. As a Legal Counsel, you will build and develop legal strategies and objectives for Hyperganic, and oversee Hyperganic’s legal compliance and risk exposure management.

You will:

- Oversee and manage all legal matters of Hyperganic
- Be based in Singapore
- Provide sound legal advice to senior management including evaluating and weighing of inputs and legal impacts of any business decision or course of action
- Review, draft and advise on complex agreements and legal documents to minimise risks and maximise legal rights of Hyperganic
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all legal-related matters
- Keep up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations to ensure Hyperganic’s compliance
- Has at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law
- Has at least 3 years of relevant experience in private practice and/or in-house roles in corporate work, preferably in a start-up
- Possesses broad legal knowledge and experience across international business law, labour law, data privacy law etc.
- Possesses the ability to anticipate legal issues and/or risks including strong analytical and judgement skills
- Holds a high degree of professional ethics, integrity and understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality
- Has strong verbal and written communication skills
