**Job Position**: CNC Mechanist Turning

**Working Hours**: 8 am ~ 530 pm (Mon
- Fri)

**Salary Range**: $1,800 ~$ 2,300 (Basic )

1. Good Experience in operating large CNC Horizontal Lather machines.

3. Able to machine parts accurately and quickly from engineered drawings;
4. Must be able to interpret technical drawings and other technical documents to determine appropriate repair parts and procedures.

5. Operates and inspects completed work to determine repair success.

6. Identifies parts/tools that need to be replaced. Places orders for parts or repair services as necessary for themselves and the mechanical technicians.

7. Conduct daily/monthly/yearly machine tool preventive maintenance.

10. Assist Workshop Assistant Engineer to complete the work scope within the time frame given and perform self-inspection on the finished work-piece

11. Demonstrates efficient job planning and schedule.

12. Must be able to manage time and coordinate all aspects of the job that is assigned by the Workshop Assistant Engineer and Workshop Manager

13. Must execute all tasks with all prescribed safety equipment in place and person using applicable OSHA rules for themselves and the mechanical technicians.

14. Any other tasks as and when assigned by supervisor/management.

**Job Requirement**:
1. At least 5 years of related experience in the heavy machining/marine industry.

2. Able to write CNC program

3. Basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances.

4. Ability to work well under pressure.
