On any given day we respond to over 12,000 queries in more than 15 languages. From educating a portfolio manager on Bloomberg's risk management solutions to helping a trader discover new sources of market liquidity - the variety of problems we solve is immense.

Bloomberg plays a critical role in the workflow of our clients therefore when we're asked a question we strive to exceed their expectations by providing a timely, accurate and quality service.

Analytics works in conjunction with Enterprise Sales to deliver on strategic initiatives, supporting product roll-out and on-boarding clients. We want to ensure our clients are making the most of our service and using tools and features that allow them to work smarter.

Bloomberg is constantly innovating and Analytics plays a key role in ensuring clients are educated on new products and enhancements by proactively reaching out to up-skill clients through technology, on-site training and seminars.

**What's the role?**
Our teams put the industry's most powerful Portfolio & Risk Analytics solution (PORT) at the fingertips of global investment professionals. Bloomberg PORT solution helps our clients make quicker and more informed decisions by empowering them with the tools to define appropriate investment universes with benchmarks, successfully implement optimal investment portfolio strategies, easily and accurately measure portfolio risk and return, and streamline their overall investment management workflow.

As a Portfolio Advanced Specialist on our Analytics team, you need to support our clients to leverage PORT by providing fast and accurate solutions to incoming queries. You also need to understand client's needs and workflow to demonstrate how PORT can help value add, and make the best investments and / or trading decisions. You need to meet clients face-to-face and ensure usage of our solutions. You need to be an excellent communicator, well adept at handling objects and providing product demonstrations. The support we give to clients is a key aspect of Bloomberg's value proposition and you will play a critical role here.

**You're expected to**:

- Engage with new and existing clients to entrench usage of PORT for all Bloomberg clients
- Provide platinum service to our buy-side and sell-side customers via Bloomberg Helpdesk
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver the Bloomberg value proposition to all clients
- Provide detailed product feedback from clients to internal business managers in an effort to continually improve our products
- Utilise exemplary presentation, training and communication skills to articulate the features and benefits of Bloomberg's PORT solutions in detail, so that you can act as a partner for your customers, and take a lead role in conducting internal training sessions

**You'll need to have**:

- Minimum 3 years of experiences in a client facing role with financial services or a financial technology company
- Minimum 1 year of experience in portfolio & risk analytics or related role
- Prior experience in using Bloomberg solutions, or similar products, and applicable asset class functionality
- Awareness of financial market landscape
- Equity and Fixed Income market experience and knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Aptitude to excel in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills, and be a self-starter and proactive collaborator
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
