Finance Controller

**Responsibilities**

**Controlling and technical compliance**
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting) for holding company and subsidiaries located in multiple countries according to Singapore and international accounting policies & procedures
- Creating an environment of control and economic responsibility for the Group and its various subsidiaries.
- Implementing group accounting policies and requirements.
- Ascertain the efficient and effective utilization of the Group financial resources and to establish proper systems & controls
- Being accountable for the entire financial operation and Control.
- Overseeing all monetary assets of the Group
- Directly supervising and be accountable for the following functions: accounting, purchasing, stores, cost control, credit control, and cashiering and direct accounting department with functional guidelines.

**Management reporting**
- Preparing budgets and various financial monthly / quarterly reports as per the various shareholders requirements.
- Liaising closely with operational managers to ensure maximum utilization of the company’s financial resources in accordance with the budgetary guidelines.
- Advising shareholders of the financial impacts for various strategic plans and ad hoc projects.
- Submitting yearly capital improvement program budget to management as well as yearly budgets for labor and operating expenses with relation to forecast.
- Contributing to the strategic business planning
- Providing financial input for future products, projects, strategies, innovative plans and direction and monitor its progress

**Cost control**
- Compiling and monitor operating budgets and capital budgets.
- Achieving maximum contributions and cooperation from Department with regards to cost control.
- Controlling all costs, expenses and labor.

**Internal Control**
- Having contributory responsibility for the establishment & implementation financial management and internal control standards.
- Implement & maintain proper internal control procedures.
- Assisting in the creation of operational guidelines and procedures.

**Others**
- Providing effective leadership within the Department & throughout the organization. Scheduling, hiring and training all accounting personnel.
- Scheduling and conducting monthly staff meetings to maintain good communication and high morale standards within the department.
- Working with all departments to meet their needs as it relates to accounting.
- Conducting performance evaluations in accordance with policies disciplines and makes recommendations for termination of accounting personnel or any other areas of the company
- Performing other tasks or projects as assigned by Shareholders.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master in Accounting / Finance / Business and/or related fields
- Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant or equivalent is a plus
- Around 8 years of relevant experience and at least 2 years consolidation experience
- Audit experience is a plus
- Solid technical competency in accounting for SFRS and IFRS.
- Experience in dealing with corporate finance matters
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams through effective teamwork and developing team members
- High attention to detail and demonstrates strong business and technical acumen
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on personality who works autonomously with a lean and flat structure in dynamic organization

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $8,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
