**Role & Responsibilities**:
- **Risk & Control Framework**: Act as the first line of defense for Asia, maintaining and enhancing the Risk, Control, and Governance framework. Promote a strong risk culture through training and workshops.
- **Regulatory Expertise**: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on key regulations including Suitability, Pricing, Investor Protection, and Cross-Border guidelines. Translate regulatory requirements into practical business solutions.
- **Change & Initiative Management**: Lead and support the launch of new business initiatives, products, and services. Represent the Front Office to review controls, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure changes are properly embedded.
- **Stakeholder Management & Support**: Act as the primary contact for Front Office on risk and control topics. Collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve issues, improve operational efficiency, and support regulatory and audit reviews.
- **Process Improvement**: Champion process streamlining and risk remediation projects. Identify and address Front Office pain points to balance compliance with operational efficiency.
- **Training & Communication**: Design and deliver training (e.g., on systems and risk awareness) and manage Front Office communications, including broadcasts and forums.

**Key Requirements**- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Private Banking with a strong background in risk management.
- Proven understanding of the private banking regulatory environment and risk management principles.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing change.
- Strong communicator
- A proactive team player, able to work independently, lead supporting team members, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
