The institution is committed to maintaining robust risk management practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven validation approaches. **The Role**: This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for validating the effectiveness of operational and technology controls. The role combines analytical expertise with strategic insights to enhance the organisation's risk management capabilities. **Key Responsibilities**: - Execute risk-based validation programmes and assess the adequacy of controls related to cyber security, technology and operational risks - Develop and implement comprehensive test procedures using data analytics to identify control improvements - Conduct thorough assessments through interviews, evidence gathering, and analytical review - Present findings and recommendations to senior management in formal committee settings - Embrace technology and data analytics to enhance validation quality and efficiency - Contribute to team effectiveness while managing individual deliverables - Stay current with industry developments to continuously improve validation methods **Qualifications**: - Degree qualified with substantial experience in financial institutions - Strong background in cybersecurity, IT/OPS auditing, or technology governance - Proven expertise in data analytics and risk management - Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview) - Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python) would be advantageous - Excellent organisational and report writing skills - Strong communication and influencing abilities at senior management level "Data provided is for recruitment purposes only."
