**QSHE Manager**:
Our team in **Singapore** currently has an opening for a **QSHE Manager**

**YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Duties and Responsibilities:

- **

**1.Adhere to Brenntag Asia Pacific’s QSHE Guideline**:

- Ensure that the guideline is followed, and report any non-compliance issues, both short term and long term, in writing to the QSHE Manager
- In the event if local regulation is more stringent than the guideline, ensuring local regulations are followed, and all non-compliance issues are reported in writing as above
**2.Ensuring legal and WSHA compliance**:

- Primary license holder and point of contact with several government agencies, ensure licenses are maintained and renewed in timely manner.
- Appointed as Fire Safety Manager, lead a team of CERT members, Inclusive of duties and responsibilities as per Fire Safety Act and Fire Safety (Fire Safety Manager) Regulation
- Point of contact with the outsourced security company, overview the security operations within the site.
- Perform duties as company appointed Safe Management Officer with HR team to ensure safe management measures are implemented.
- Participate in the QSHE committee team meeting and lead QSHE committee as secretary
- Responsible in preparation of committee meeting agenda and all necessary follow up actions
- Being appointed as the bizSAFE Level 5 Risk Management champion to implement risk assessment & management for the company
- Provides regular QSHE inspection
- Responsible to ensure that all fire and safety equipment are well maintained and in serviceable condition at all times
- Conducts Incident investigations
- Ensure Brenntag is complied with applicable HSE laws and relevant requirements. This includes identification, evaluation and training HSE requirements to employees
**3.Develop and communicate Brenntag’s QSHE Strategy**:

- Ensure that Brenntag Asia Pacific’s QSHE strategy is followed and that the QSHE strategy is well communicated and understood by all employees of Brenntag
- Develop and prioritize projects to close any gaps, identify resources (time, people, costs) to execute these projects, and lead the projects from idea to implementation
**4.Plan and execute Brenntag’s QSHE Processes**:

- Lead the ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards and facilitate audit for the certificate accreditations, manage and lead suppliers, customers and regional’s audits.
- Assist the Responsible Care membership
- Lead statutory compliance to WSHA (Workplace Safety & Health Act)
- Lead Product Stewardship procedure as approver
- Lead internal facility audits and participate in external facility audits
- Lead incident/ accident and near miss reporting procedures
- Lead the QSHE training program and carry out and regular communication sessions on safety to the staff
- Maintain both the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and Transport Emergency Response Plan (TERP) for the site and operations.
- Conduct audit and inspection for 3PL warehouse
- Support Commercial Teams with QSHE advisory for new products classified as DG

**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Education**:
**Occupational Health and Safety or relevant bachelors or master’s degree
**Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years/ and above of working experience within QSHE
- Working experience in the chemicals industry an advantage
- Working experience in distribution and/ or logistics an advantage
- Working experience in an international environment an advantage
- Experience in Fire Safety and DG management is preferable
- Knowledge in using the SAP QM module
**Others**:

- Good persuasion and presentation skills
- Good people skills and analytical skills
- Good command in spoken and written English & Mandarin (To liaise with business associates)
