(Singapore) Analyst

This person is responsible for providing analytical support for transportation programs, including small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, international, courier, truckload, rail or expedited. Also responsible for supporting government regulatory agencies, including department of transportation (DOT), and federal aviation administration (FAA), auxiliary programs including car allowance reimbursement, freight audit and payment, and supply chain analytics. - Assists transportation manager develop, negotiate and administer national programs for specific modes, including small package, LTL, private fleet, dedicated, international, courier, truckload, rail and expedited. - Analyzes and improves mode-specific service and expense metrics. - Creates and maintains appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting. - Provides specific analysis on transportation or supply chain initiatives. - Participates in LEAN initiatives. - Responsible for regulatory compliance at branches and distribution centers. - Ensures company, DOT, and hazmat policies meet specific laws and regulations governing safe handling, packaging, and transportation of materials, and employees are properly trained and documented. **Experience**: - 1 year required, 3 years preferred of transportation, logistics or supply chain. **Education**: - Bachelors’ Degree in Business, logistics, or supply chain or related required **Skills**: - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical and organizational skills - Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office required, transportation-specific preferred). - Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated - Pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations - WESCOM, Tandem, general database knowledge preferred. - WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates ("WESCO"), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
