IT / Technical Project Manager (Middleware)

My client, a global IT service provider is looking for a Project Manager to be based in Changi location

Role
- **Drive strategic initiatives. **Work closely with the project lead, owner, or sponsor to define the project goals and ensure that they align with the organization's overall strategy.
- **Manage relationships. **Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from all departments and partners, ensuring that their needs are met and that any conflicts are resolved.
- **Deliver projects. **Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope. Identify and manage risks, and take corrective action as needed.
- **Manage resources. **Ensure that the project team has the right skills and resources to complete the project, and that the project budget is managed effectively.
- **Communicate effectively. **Keep stakeholders informed of the project's progress, and manage their expectations.

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry
- At least 3 years of experience in project management and/or business analysis
- Strong systems engineering skills in middleware technology
- Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Knowledge of technology middleware vendors and their product/service offerings
- Knowledge of industry technology trends
- Knowledge of IT security, risk management, and security controls

**Knowledge**
- Professional/trade qualifications: Project management certifications such as PMP and Prince2 are preferred
- Computer proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and MS Visio
- Technical proficiency: Demonstrated strong technical proficiency in managing both development and architecture design related to IBM IIB, MQ, IBM API Gateway, WebSphere, IIS, Apache, and JBos

- Internal: Senior management, heads of departments, general staff, immediate supervisor External: Partners, third-party providers
