A **Senior Satellite Sales Specialist** works side by side with the Account team and plays a critical role in completing and packaging deals by providing the technical knowledge and expertise to help build a solution for the customers. This is an Integral role in contributing to the strategic growth of Telstra and our market presence through identifying, developing and closing high-value, complex Satellite solutions with our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support innovation and lead components of continuous improvement activities for the identification of sales, solution design, negotiation methods and sales delivery approaches that support sales capability development
- Will be heavily involved in Telstra's continual Satellite evolution from traditional VSAT sales to developing GSAAS solutions throughout Asia Pacific and Oceania
- Work closely with account teams globally and with the customers to build a solution
- Use a range of communication and relationship building skills to establish and manage customer, vendor and key strategic relationships, to deliver high customer satisfaction outcomes
- Engage and collaborate within a diverse, multi-stakeholder landscape (e.g. Client Executives, Business Development Managers, Solution Specialists, Deep Domain Specialists, Bid & Delivery Teams, Telstra Partners) to translate complex sales into leading edge customer solutions
- Project Manage all new builds throughout Asia Pacific & Oceania.
- This role is customer facing and quota bearing.

**Required Skills**:

- Relevant sales experience in providing complex satellite solutions to clients
- With strong knowledge and a great community expert of GEO, MEO, LEO and HEO providers
- Can effectively build, showcase and demonstrate Telstra Satellite services and technologies in a customer facing scenario
- Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to lead customer meetings and discussions
- Experience in Business to Business Sales (B2B)
