To help us build upon our success, we are seeking a **Sr. Dev Ops Engineer**, with experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure to join us in building the future of ViSenze’s retail intelligence platform.

The Sr. DevOps Engineer will architect and automate the CI/CD production, staging and development pipelines and define the best practices and standards as required for business growth. As the Sr. DevOps Engineer at ViSenze is expected to independently lead and define the most suited architecture practices, and therefore it is also important and expected of the Senior DevOps Engineer to be able to communicate to wide array of stakeholders, including senior management and influencing colleagues and coach junior engineers.

The Senior DevOps Engineer - will be contributing to ideating and development of features that:

- Ensure the quality and stability of our environments, deployment pipelines and tools necessary to be efficient with a focus on developer productivity
- Improve and address security and performance issues
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction

**Requirements**:
**Expertise & Knowledge**

The Senior DevOps Engineer is expected to bring/possess:

- Min 8 years of related professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud AWS, Azure and GCP; with a strong preference for AWS experience
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design rationale, including computing, storage, databases, and Managed Cloud Functions, like AWS SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, EKS, S3, ELB, VPC, Route53, WAF/ Firewall Manager, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc.
- Strong design and implementation experiences in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and strong understanding of CI/CD principles, including experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Terraform experience is preferred.
- Strong design and implementation experiences on the CICD pipeline, managing code repository, code builder, and deployment utilities.
- Good understanding of cross region and cross platform deployment challenges and resolution
- Strong hands-on experiences on Infrastructure and network level debugging

Desired Experience:

- Design and Implementation of monitoring and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, and other tools like Prometheus, Grafana to ensure system health and performance.
- Experience in Site Reliability Engineering for large scale systems, Cloud Native technology stack (e.g. Kubernete etc)
- Experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed and high performance systems
