**What you will be working on**
- 1. Ensure the clinical quality and medical appropriateness of all aggregated healthcare service and product contracts under Home Team Medical Services Division (HTMSD):

- Conduct and plan clinical audits of Singapore First Aid Training Centre (SFATC) CPR/AED training processes and compliance with national and international standards
- Conduct and plan clinical reviews of Parkway Shenton (PSPL) Medical Centres (MC) and IPPT screening
- Conduct and plan clinical review of medical coverage processes in training schools
- Conduct and plan clinical audits of AED deployment and scientific evaluation of efficacy of emerging technology claims

2. Ensure the establishment and maintenance of good quality clinical services for medical care provision contracted under specific Home Team Departments (HTDs):

- Conduct quarterly medical audits for HTDs and provide guidance on improvements that may be made to clinical protocols, documentation, and processes
- Provide ad-hoc guidance and review of medical processes and clinical service quality as requested by HTDs

3. Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance (QA) and Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reporting framework for all healthcare services under the Home Team (HT):

- To ensure timely identification and reporting of any serious reportable event, peer review cases or mortality and morbidity cases
- To evaluate any serious reportable event, peer reviewing learning cases, or mortality and morbidity cases and assess if the quality of the service provided by contracted vendor was acceptable
- To identify and develop potential clinical solutions for any problem that may have arisen in connection with these events/cases and to make clinical recommendations to improve the quality of the service provided
- To monitor the implementation of said recommendations and ensure that the changes in clinical guidelines or protocols are adhered to

4. Support HTDs in ensuring that effective, evidence-based care is provided:

- Conduct regular horizon scanning for emerging primary and occupational healthcare service models and complementary products to facilitate service delivery
- Regularly review the feasibility of adoption of new care and service delivery

models and appropriateness of medical technology in the HT setting
- Conduct regular utilisation review and outcome evaluation of newly adopted/

deployed service models and technology including systemic measure of impact to HT operations and health

**What we are looking for**
- 1. Tertiary education with Science and clinical/healthcare background is preferable
2. Minimum 3-5 years working experience, preferably in healthcare setting
3. Experience with instituting Serious Reportable Events (SRE) and QA frameworks including implementation of interventions to resolve systemic issues
4. Experience conducting or participating in clinical audits in required
5. Experience in healthcare services programme evaluation and clinical trials is required
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
