Quality Control Senior Associate

This role will be responsible for site Document Control Management, Pest Management, Halal Management, Quality Wall Management as well as acting as site COA lead taking charge of New Products COA set-up and update when there is change.

**RESPONSIBILITIES
Document Control:

- Develop and maintain the document management systems.eventive Control (PC) reviewer.
- Support all plant functions in meeting PepsiCo, regulatory and local documentation requirements.
- Ensure release and control of all hard copy documents where necessary.
- Work closely with all plant departments to identify and address gap related to documentation, finalize content of internal documentation and post on DMS.
- Organize and lead cross functional documentation reviews and ensure visibility to all stakeholders on new document releases (both corporate and internal documents).
- Ensure relevant documentation is available to the operations teams when required
- Track performance of teams in maintaining accurate documentation.
- Liaise with DM team on changes and issues with the Document Management Systems.
- Manage & maintain training records for the Quality department.
- Provide and/or coordinate induction and refresher Quality and Food Safety Training where appropriate.
- Support readiness for all Internal and Third-Party Audits for the site.
- DMS Set Up Requests includes giving extra access to employees already set up on the system.
- Support Compliance personnel in all aspects of documentation control, retrieval, generation and annual review.

Halal Management:

- Appointed as Halal Team Lead.
- Maintenance of Halal Certificates.
- Ensure state of readiness for Halal Third-Party Audits. Manage all pre-audit activities to ensure success in external and internal audits.
- Liaison with Vendor using Expiry Tool Notification to request vendor to update Halal Certificate renewal when closed to expiry date.
- Conduct halal assurance program training to plant personnel and halal team members.

Quality Wall Management:

- Coordinate and coordinate for all new, label change with Cork Label Team, and Chemical SRA.
- Coordinate and manage label change bottler for country specific labels
- Ensure a state of readiness for new product introductions and interplant transfers to the facility.

Pest Management:

- Appointed as Pest Control Coordinator.
- Monitor pest activity and operational changes that may affect pest management.
- Coordinate pest control servicing and corrective actions initiated in the plant by the appointed licensed pest control company.
- Ensure the pest control servicing and corrective actions initiated in the plant is being carried out in accordance to the signed contract with the appointed licensed pest control company.
- Review pest control report issued by pest controller for follow-up action implemented by the respective departments.
- Coordinate and manage any pest issue observed by plant personnel through Pest Control Sighting Form.
- Pest Control Coordinator will be trained through PepsiCo University to understand pest biology, prevention and control tactics for the IPM program.

Others:

- Review COA to ensure the accuracy of testing parameter and COA dates
- BOM Reviewer and Approval Person to ensure it matches technical document.
- Traceability and data/report compilation for customer complaint.
- Assist and coordinate with label related projects including new label template layout, test print, label content verification, BOM change, logic change, drafting communication letter, etc.
- Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.

**PRE-REQUISITES**

Education or Professional Certifications
- Diploma or equivalent in any discipline

Experience
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
- Training experience an advantage
- Experience at driving system implementation
- Experience in a Quality related position with strong documentation skills
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with AIB style auditing preferred.
- Experience with MUIS /Halal is preferred.

Knowledge & Job Skills
- Computer literate with hands-on experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required
- Proficient with SAP preferred
