**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Junior Flavors Compounder**

**Work will involve**:

- Receive raw materials on-site, ensure right material in terms of quality and quantity are received.
- Retrieving raw materials out from the warehouse for production
- Weighing of ingredients in both liquid and powder forms according to a list
- Operate various equipment to blend these ingredients together in a prescribed order
- Packing finished goods into the assigned packaging materials with the assigned labels
- Operate and maintain the equipment as per the SOP and Work Instructions
- Palletization of the finished goods for despatch and return of leftover raw materials back to the warehouse
- Ensure all food safety requirements are fulfilled in the respective work area
- To keep and maintain proper production and warehouse records.
- Take samples and ensure all products produced meet the product specification and quality standard.
- Cleaning of the equipment and area where necessary in between different products
- Ad-hoc logistics and warehouse-related tasks such as loading/unloading of materials from transport vehicles, and stuffing/unstuffing of containers
- Retrieving and packing of samples from production batches or bulk packaging to submit to QC Teams or Sales Teams as instructed
**Mandatory Qualities**
- Basic proficiency in English required to read labels and formulation sheets
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy loads and objects
**Desired Qualities - these are not compulsory**
- Able perform simple numerical calculations as necessary to adjust batch sizes
- Knowledge of basic building maintenance and modification works, eg. Installation of shelves on walls, installation of additional power points, ad-hoc repairs on broken pipes etc.
- Forklift license or at least experience in operating reach trucks
