**Purpose of the Post**
Main Duties and ResponsibilitesThe Research Assistant / Research Associate will:

- Oversee the general management of studies.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support for the studies, including organizing regular meetings to maintain communication with other research teams at the Centre for Sleep and Cognition / Project HEATS.
- Undertake day-to-day tasks for the studies, such as participant recruitment and data collection in both laboratory and home settings.
- Process and analyse data.
- Assist in preparing progress and final reports for the studies.
- Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record-keeping in line with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with any other duties of a similar nature as delegated by the Principal Investigator.

**Qualifications**

The applicant should:

- Have a first degree with good results (for the Research Assistant position) or hold a Master’s degree (for the Research Associate position) in Psychology, Physiology, or related disciplines, preferably with some research experience.
- Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and an investigative nature.
- Be proficient in SPSS / SAS / R / MATLAB; familiarity with E-prime and Python is an advantage.
- Preferably have experience in EEG or polysomnography.
