Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Additionally, act as the main site interface to liase with local partners, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors and local authorities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support in reviewing of consultants / contractors offers during project development & design activities.
- Accountable for technical integrity across multi-disciplines, ensure particularly that technology requirements are incorporated into civil, building and MEP design.
- Support in reviewing and maintaining deliverables (including, but not limited to Drawings, Calculations, Datasheets, Technical specifications, Technical bid evaluations, Schedules etc.).
- Answer technical queries and checking designs and estimates.
- Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, proactively seek relevant details regarding project requirements.
- Support in ensuring alignment with the baseline project scope & coordination with consultants / contractors.
- Follow up on the status of permits during project pre-engineering phase and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
- Interface work with consultants, contractors to deliver optimized building and infrastructure design in alignment with specific site constraints.
- Support in ensuring compliance with group technical and process standards throughout project development and execution phases.
- Support in ensuring compliance with local standards and technical regulations.
- Support in maintaining detailed documentation of all site engineering activities.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or Master’s degree in engineering
- Ability to work within budgets and deadlines
- Min five years' experience in industrial project, in similar position
- Experience in Water Treatment Industry
- In depth understanding of the construction industry. Familiar with DB projects, and collaborative project delivery methodologies
- Experience in permitting activities
- Computer Literate. Microsoft office tools, Autodesk Cloud and MS teams
- Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking), any additional language skills would be considered as an asset
- Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills, ability to make decision quickly.
- Ability to focus on details as required, and have the ability to work well within a deadline driven environment
- Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field (during construction phase)
- Ability to collaborate with many other teams
- Great inter-personal skills, determined, friendly, outgoing individual
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Geographical knowledge of territory

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $10,000.00 per month
