Also, feel free to check out why: - Business Insider named us an "enterprise startup to bet your career on" - Forbes' Cloud 100 recognized us as one of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world - Deloitte Tech Fast 500 ranked us as the 17th fastest growing tech company in the Bay Area, and 96th in North America - Quartz ranked us the #1 best company for remote workers **Responsibilities**: - DBT Modeling: - Design, develop, and maintain data models using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and analysis, providing accurate and consistent data for end users and stakeholders - Collaborate with Data Analysts and Business Stakeholders to understand their reporting and analysis needs and translate them into DBT models. - Maintain our internal dbt conventions and best practices, ensuring our code-base is clean and efficient. - Data Reliability and Completeness: - Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing robust testing, validation, and cleaning processes on source tables to improve data reliability. - Create and maintain data documentation & definitions, including data dictionaries and process flows. - Collaboration with Data & Engineering Teams: - Partner with data engineers, product analysts, GTM data teams, and other stakeholders to align data insights with product improvements. - Communicate complex data patterns and conclusions effectively to internal and external stakeholders, coworkers, and end-users. - Evangelize our team's data models to business users, accelerating their time to insights. - Exploring Emerging Technologies: - Actively research the applicability of new tools, and technologies, like GenAI, for enhancing data engineering and analysis. - Develop and test prototypes that showcase the potential impact of GenAI and similar technologies on our current product usage datasets. **Requirements**: **Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills**: - Proficiency in SQL, database knowledge, and understanding of Python. Knowledge of using DBT is a plus. - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Resourceful in execution and results-oriented - Interns who will be able to commit on a full-time basis for at least 6 months will be preferred. **Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics**: - Fast mover and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making - Curious mindset with attention to detail. - Thoughtful team player, a quick learner, and have a "can do" attitude with a growth mindset - Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data models, data-driven insights, and issues stakeholders effectively **(REQ ID: 2145)**:
