Hyundai Engineering Singapore is a dedicated facility management company, committed to providing comprehensive support and services to a premier client. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive **Security Coordinator**to ensure the utmost safety and security of our client's state-of-the-art facility.
This role is offered as a **1-year contract, with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent position**based on performance and company needs.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing day-to-day security operations, maintaining rigorous protocols, and ensuring a secure environment for all occupants, visitors, and assets within the facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Security Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
**Reporting & Collaboration**:
Work closely and report directly to our client's Security Manager (Head of Security) to ensure seamless integration of security operations and alignment with client objectives.
**Security Operations & Oversight**:
- Oversee and optimize daily security operations within the facility, including conducting regular audits, inspections, surveillance for violations/suspicious activities, and performing perimeter checks.
- Operate and maintain security control equipment.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of occurrences, submitting incident reports as necessary.
- Prepare and file all documentation related to security services and Commute Bus operations.
- Manage safety works for both company personnel and subcontractors.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
**Access & Communication Management**:
- Manage all access control and registration processes with prompt responses, covering access pass approvals (visitor/contractor/business traveller), vehicle/material entry/exit, restricted area access, video filming/photography, and incoming delivery location entries.
- Handle phone calls and monitor WhatsApp group chats, providing prompt updates and replies in priority order.
- Monitor Commuter Bus operations.
- Maintain Staff Passes/Access Cards.
**VIP Visits & Coordination**:
- Coordinate security arrangements for the client's VIP guests, who are diverse and include, but are not limited to: Heads of State, Ambassadors, foreign delegates, as well as Directors and Senior Executives from both private and public sectors.
- Liaise with relevant Persons-In-Charge (PIC) on arrangements and make necessary provisions for security management and access pass issuance if required.
**Reporting & Compliance**:
- Prepare and submit weekly security and commuter bus billing reports specifically to our client.
- Manage Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they align with HQ and Client Policies.Update and revise SOPs when required.
**Qualifications**
- **Minimum 5 years of proven experience in security service management within a large-scale facility**, with strong hands-on knowledge of building and security operations.
- Proficiency in **developing and implementing security SOPs**, and expertise in the planning and installation of security facilities.
- Demonstrated experience in **security coordination for VIP visits and large-scale events**.
- Excellent **report writing and presentation skills**.
- Possession of relevant **Security Service Certification (e.g., Senior Security Supervisor or above)**is preferred.
