As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Deploying, managing, and operating scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on the Akamai Zero Trust Cloud Platform
- Analysing and improving security, stability, speed, and capacity of Akamai Zero Trust production network
- Automating new cloud service deployments
- Monitoring, troubleshooting Akamai cloud services to ensure SLA is met and adequate capacity is available.
- Analysing logs and events from the cloud service and providing recommendations to ensure smooth service operation.
- Participating in on-call rotations backed by our engineering teams

**Do what you love**:
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have 7 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline
- Have experience working on large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure: AWS (must), VMWare, Azure, GCE
- Be experienced with monitoring and analytics such as VictoriaMetrics, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Sensu
- Understanding of deployment and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet
- Maintain load balancers, proxies, nginx and Postgres
- Work with SAML, Kerberos, NTLM, OIDC, Oauth2 and IDP vendors such Microsoft, Okta
- Experience in Ubuntu, shell/Python scripting, understanding of HTTP/S and related web technologies
- Possess excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve infrastructure/customer issues
